We all know the load of expenses emerging when you establish yourself in an old country house retreat in the south of Spain.
Sometimes the only way to afford a solar power system is to cut a corner. For this the Mono bloc batteries are very economical, although they’re not the best economy over the long run. Proper solar batteries will outlive the mono bloc by several years and thus emerges as the best deal over time.
12/24/48Volt systems with 1400 – 3000Watt constant load capacity. Inverter/chargers can either supply power from, or charge your batteries from an external source such as a generator. This completely cancels the issue of keeping your system autonomous during overcast weather. About an hour of generator charge (app. 2€ worth of fuel) will keep your batteries topped up, until the clouds are gone.
If you can’t beat them, at least acknowledge the fact! We have aborted selling LED bulbs and recommend IKEA as the best source for quality LED lights these days.
It’s been a while since we wrote this post but some of the info below is still worth knowing. The development of the LED lights has increased the watt consumption but the clarity and strength of modern LED bulbs “out shines” this minor increase in watts…..
